The dream failed When I was a child I dream about be a veterinarian. In fact, my grandmother gives me teddies for to heal them. I have to say that I loved care about animals but when I was grew up my dream hiding. However this dream never be in connection with making a career that give money. In other time in my life approximately when I was twelve years o ld my dream torn about be a lawyer, but this weird dream fortunately go far away. In High School my options -in other way hard to say "my dreams"- round about to be a marine biologist to be a political scientist or a sociologist woman. Finally, I choose sociology, a career interesting with many things to do and helps me to contribute the community. My experience at the university until now has been exhausting but a good choice that I made. I like the people, the political environment -in extremely good because I learn many things- but at the same time I felt the Univer...

Today I would like to talk about the career I studied. In the first year of sociology (including the first and second semester) is focused in answering the question about what’s sociology in general terms. In the first semester we have to take subject of the social science, and the second semester we introduce in the “sociology” and we see a classical authors like Marx, Durkheim and others. In the second year, we continue pass the authors immersed in the area of sociology, but more “contemporaneous”. In the rest of the career (like the third, fourth and fifth year) we have to take subject of our interest, that’s maybe in relation with our professional life. It’s difficult for me view any change because the program career is new and we are the first generation in released, but for now I would like the program career was focus in the social intervention, among others thing. The career during five years (on average) and the workloads depend of our interest, if we ...

In this occasion, I would like to talk about a picture in specific. This picture refers to the topic of existentialism of human being. Well, about this picture: it does belong to Jim Goldberg (born in 1953), an American artist and photographer, whose work reflects the mainstream populations. In general, he integrates in his picture the concept of self and the feature of this. He does a similar work in other works, I mean he takes a picture and its pass to the person photographed with a view to write a thing, full of beauty or empty (why not both?). His works have been exhibited, published and collect internationally. The picture remits to thinking about the weakness and dissatisfaction of the human being. Everything reinforced when I saw Ron (“the lead of the existence”). I saw in him the loneliness but at the same time the pass of the life. I saw this man and make me wants to know about his history, his reflections, his terms and conditions of his life full of regrets ...

In this moment I study Sociology, but after that I always had the idea to study marine biology. I always feel exciting about this career, especially because there are so many species without discovering yet. Also, I found interesting the way they (maritime beings) communicate with which other species, their intelligence, things that scape from our senses. I would like to study in Chile, because the environment it’s excellent to study, beside the development here must be comfortable, or at least propitiate in accordance with the local situation. In a future, I would like to study in other country, to the purpose of knowing a lot of other things and in that way be able to contribute to my community. In this way, I dreaming about the possibility to give knowledge to people who interesting in this area, but don’t have the chance to pay a career or anything else. I would like to provide tools to the community, so they created new ways to transform they own space in toning with the ...

Best Holiday I've ever had The best holiday I've ever had at this moment was this year, specifically between February and March (three weeks altogether). This trip was planned with my sister and her friends (Nicol, Mirella and Nicolás) to Peru and Bolivia, respectively. About the activities, there were centered about visiting places like Machu Picchu, Cusco, Isla del Sol, Lima, and much more. Although the time was short in comparation with the places I visited, I knew how to enjoy every moment. I had the possibility to meet Chilean people and arm a group named "Mochilebrios". We met in Cusco and traveled together until La Paz, certainly a long time. Also, I visited many ruins which had connection with old cultures (like Incas). Relevant information to give it's about the food and the water. You have to be carefully about the food you consume in the street or restaurants, because it can cause you and your group a bad moment in the trip. In relatio...

I'd like to visit so many places with different traditions, cultures, religions, and also know and meeting with people who lived there. That's why it's difficult for me to choose a place in the world to visit, because there are many interesting and amazing locations. However, in this moment of my life I'd like to visit Argentina, specifically Buenos Aires. Why this places? Because I have the idea to know the countries (or part of them) there are close to me and then go far away. About Buenos Aires, apart of being the city of the tango, I know this is a big place, which has many options like theatre, music, museums, among other things. In summary, it's a city that’s never sleeps. Besides, you could find books in a low cost (as compared to Chile). In that way, I'd like to do so many things like visit museums, concerts, knows people who attract me. Finally, I'd like to study in Buenos Aires, or in a places in Argentina, because I know the educati...
